Teacher Appreciation Week: May 7-11, 2018

Every year, the Brockett PTA dedicates a full school week to showing our gratitude to the teachers and staff who teach, nurture and care for our children. We have provided a schedule here of ways in which we as a school family can collectively show our educators how appreciative we are.

MONDAY 5/7 – FLOWER DAY:  Bring fresh or handmade flowers from home.

TUESDAY 5/8 – LUNCH will be provided by the PTA Board.

WEDNESDAY 5/9 – BREAKFAST/SNACKS - Volunteers please contact [email protected].

THURSDAY 5/10 – SAY IT DAY:

=         Send your child to school with a stack of Post-It notes with messages they have written and will continue to write spontaneously to any of their teachers during the day.

=         Send cards or letters that you or your family members have written.

=         Younger grades may wish to complete a questionnaire for their teacher. Pinterest search “thank you teacher questionnaire” for ideas.

FRIDAY 5/11 – CHOCOLATE DAY: Bring in a sweet treat for any staff member.

Other ideas:

**Arrive to the school early and bring coffee to the carpool, cafeteria or janitorial staff. **Ask your homeroom

and specials teachers what supplies they need. **Volunteer, volunteer, volunteer!
