EIRO, a catalyst for healthy church-community partnerships, is pleased to partner with Brockett Elementary PTA, & the Dekalb Summer Reading Partnership to provide a gift pack of summer reading materials for each student at Brockett. We are excited to offer high-quality, age-appropriate materials that will nurture literacy and a love of reading!
Gifts will be presented at the Rising Parent-Teacher Meet & Greet next Wednesday, May 25, at 3:30 pm. Volunteers will lead an interactive "book club" read-aloud using one of the books in your pack followed by a simple activity. Parents will receive tips for reading with their children and tricks for encouraging them to read independently.
