Extended Day Hours for Oct. 2nd to Oct.31st
2:35:  Dismissal begins.
2:35-2:38: Walkers, bus riders, and day care van riders are dismissed to their designated locations.
2:40:  Car riders are dismissed to the Music Room (Pre-K to 2nd) and Media Center (3rd-5th).
2:55:  After School Extended Day students dismissed to Cafeteria.
6:30:  After School Extended Day Program closes.

There will be no changes to the start of the school day.  All students should be in the building, in class before 7:45 a.m.

School Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of this school counseling program is to provide students with a comprehensive developmental school counseling program centered on the individual success of the student in educational, career, vocational, and personal/social competencies which are necessary to function and contribute in a diverse society. Brockett Elementary School Counselors will strive to utilize all available opportunities for collaboration with faculty, administration, staff, parents, and community resources in order to maximize students’ academic, emotional and career growth and success. Student plans for the future are developed with the students, parents and counselor input. Students are encouraged to plan with a focus on College and Career Readiness. Students are encouraged to reach their full potential and optimal performance is expected of each student. The School Counselor’s goal is to ensure that all students from diverse backgrounds are performing at his or her highest level of functioning and that success is achieved.
